I love this series. These characters are alot like my friends. Lol. I was kind of surprised that this book wasn't nearly as funny as the first book but it was still alot of fun to read. Drew and Jenny's characters crack me up! Lmbo! I would love to have a friend like him that made me laugh all the time. Gavin is still as ornery as ever but God I love that kid. When Claire tells the stepford mom's off at Gavin's party I freakin loved it! I was really starting to get pissed off when Carter kept putting off asking Claire to marry him but the way he finally does it was so sweet and heartwarming I got alittle teary eyed. Liz is still as crazy as ever and she and Jim are so much fun, he's so tame compared to her I think that's what makes their characters so great together. I can't wait to get to Drew and Jenny's story. At times I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. Lol. And needless to say Carter and Claire are still as sexy as ever. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Another great installment to the Chocolate Lovers series. Just like the first, Futures and Frosting contained the right amount of humor, inappropriateness, and moments that tugged at your heartstrings.

To conclude, I would like to quote from my favorite scene of this book, because it meant so much to me.

"Say it," he whispers. "I missed out on this the first time. I want to hear you say it."
My throat is so tight I'm positive I won't even be able to take another breath, and he wants me to talk?
"Please?" he pleads softly.
He smiles at me and I can see his eyes start to fill with tears. I want to tell him so many things, but I'm too overcome with emotion and frankly, a little bit of puke. Two words are all I can muster.
"I'm pregnant," I whisper back with a sniffle.
"You're pregnant?" he asks with a huge smile.

I just love it when characters offer a moment of tender vulnerability and you can do nothing but smile.
A combined review of Book 1 & Book 2
Seduction & Snacks was one of the funniest and sexiest books that I have ever read! I frequently tried to read it in quiet places like waiting rooms, but was unable to because I was laughing so hard that tears were forming. People began to stare. I paid 99 cents for it and enjoyed all of the characters. Yeah, even Drew and his t-shirts. Book 1 gets five stars.

Frostings and Futures
Ehhh... Not so much. I really looked forward to this installment. I gleefully paid the $3.99 to read it. Well, I really don't know what happened in the writing of this book. It was about 25% (225 vs. 302 pages) shorter and the author added and editor. About 15% of those fewer pages were used to explain situations that happened in Book 1. Although it was cute, it was not the tear filled, shaking laughter that Book 1 was. Both books suffered a little from the changing of point-of-view thoughts or words, but Book 2 was worse at it. Book 2 also took the occasional pot-shot into the political that was really pointless and unnecessary.
Book 2 gets two stars.
I really don't know if I will spend the $3.99 for Book 3
Side Note For those who are new to this series, be sure to read the first book Seduction and Snacks first because this book is the follow up!

This series is HILARIOUS. It is probably my absolute favorite romantic comedy series of all time and I know that I will be constantly re-reading it. Futures and Frosting continues Claire and Carters story after they finally become a couple. And with their beautiful son Gavin by their side and their wonderful friends, their life has become an absolute fairytale… Well, almost. Gavin is still the snarky little five-year-old that would rather talk about farts and wieners than learn his ABC’s like normal preschoolers, Drew is still the hilarious horn ball that also enjoys talking about bodily functions and other perverted things, Carter is still the wonderful and charming human being all us readers have come to love in this series especially considering his undying devotion to Claire, and Claire is still the same old humorous and lighthearted character I have ever came across. Is their life like a fairytale with sunshine and rainbows? Close but not close enough…

With laugh out loud moments that will make you pee you pants, and characters that will make you wish they were your best friends, Futures and Frosting is a book you DON’T want to miss out on. In fact, this entire series is a must have for all fans of romantic comedies. If you have not read this series yet, then you are missing out! Just a word of caution though, don’t read this one in public. If you do, be aware that people are going to look at you funny because this book brings out the giggle snorts. Seriously…
