I couldn't decide between three stars (the rating I gave it on my kindle after I finished reading the book) or four stars (which I felt was probably closer to the truth considering how many time I highlighted the book).The reason that I had difficulty was because of the content of the book itself. The Road to Armageddon is written by a Catholic priest who had a near death experience with Jesus Christ before his conversion to Christianity. Having said that, the author discusses many of the works from various religious belief systems (not just Christianity) the he claims Jesus told him to study. He even seems to believe in reincarnation which is most definitely NOT a Catholic teaching.
However, Chuck Facas has much to say on the topics of love and prayer towards the last one-third of the book and this is where I found myself doing MUCH highlighting. For example, here is a quote from the book regarding atheists:
"I believe that there is no such thing as an atheist - I believe that everybody has a God -the only question is, "Who's your God?" And for atheists, their god is themselves."
Here is another quote regarding prayer:
"Prayer is saying I want to be a part of that life in God in me and let it more and more fill me - my conscious life - so that more and more of how I live, how I speak, how I listen, how I make choices is caught up in what God wants to do through me."
These are but a couple of the numerous highlights I have, some of which are quite lengthy. I can't say that I agree with everything that Father Facas says, but I do believe this book is worth reading (which doesn't take long at all) and you can't beat the price. It is a free Kindle download. So why not try it. You have nothing to lose and you just might gain some insights that you had never heard of, much less considered, before.

Will set you free. This material will transform your life as much as the Bible! A must read for humans of every religion or not! Best thing I have ever read in fifty years!
Some of the events and beliefs of the author just didn't seem logical. Although the chapter on the different types of demons was informative and interesting.

This author brings a simple understanding of how to grow closer to God. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Return GOOD to everyone. Meditate on God's Divine love and mercy.
Good advice for all. Found enlightening and words are the same that I find in scripture. Reincarnation I'm sure is possible, as all is possible with God. But I wouldn't believe in chances beyond this life.
For a very short read of less the 80 pages; it is a very Profound Thesis. This Thesis goes through the various reasons why we as Human Beings are having so may problems connecting with our Creator caused by the various distractions that we encounter.
Then it goes into Prayer, Meditation, supported by Reading from the Authors of the past as to how they accomplished their goal of coming extremely close to our Creator.
The WORST feeling a Human Soul can have just before they expire is "I WISHED I COULD HAVE LOVED MORE!!!"
